Okanagan Hillside Flowers & Food Gardens
Designed to reflect our clients’ ornamental and functional interests, these gardens are surrounded by the beauty of native Okanagan hillside.
Our goals: preserve the native landscape of Ponderosa Pine, Oregon Grape and Arrow-leaved Balsamroot; create new gardens for multi-season aesthetics, cut flowers, and food growing – all to exist in harmony with visiting wildlife.
Rock gathered on site retains an existing slope and defines space for a perennial flower garden and herb spiral. Fencing encloses a new food garden with raised beds for veggies, berries and salad greens (and discourages visits from deer and bear).
