Welcome

I am excited to introduce you to Red Bird Landscapes & Edible Gardens in Naramata, BC.

We’ve taken some time this winter to focus and re-name our work, formerly “Red Bird Gardenworks”, to articulate our future direction and commitments. Huge thanks to Catalina Polloni for her creativity, vision and technical skills in working with me to create this website. Selecting photos to showcase some of our past work and assembling words to describe “us” and our services has offered gifts of clarity and affirmation. With our Blog we look forward to providing resources and inspiration for gardening and growing in the Okanagan.

In the midst of this work, I am looking for signs of life in the garden. Today I noticed tulips that have pushed up through the cold winter ground - a welcome sign of spring?  Or a signal to re-double our efforts in the face of climate change towards regenerative design and growing food locally? On this grey, almost the end of January day, I’ll take it as both.

Red Bird began in 2010. With gratitude for past and continuing clients, colleagues and friends, we look forward to connecting and growing with you in 2018.
